Fitwork Workshop in Bucharest, 13th December 2017 15.12.2017

The Fitwork workshop (the 3rd FITWORK Conference) was held on the 13th of December 2017 in Bucharest (ROMNIA), organized by Romtens Foundation in collaboration with the project’s partners.

There were more than 40 participants from various fields of expertise: occupational medicine physicians, rehabilitation, physical medicine and balneoclimatology physicians, physiotherapists and OSH experts.

 

Throughout the day, ENWHP, represented by Mr. John Griffiths,  highlighted the importance of promoting health at work, IBV, represented by Mr Juan Giménez showed the direct relationship between ergonomic risk factors and the development of musculoskeletal disorders, while Mr. Carlos Gonçalves representing the University of Coimbra, showed the benefits of physical activity.

Also a short presentation of the FITWORK project was performed by MD Theodor Haratau, representing Romtens Foundation.

 

The workshop was finished with a presentation on applied ergonomics in different professional areas, presented by MD Elena-Ana PAUNCU, Professor of occupational medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Victor Babes from Timisoara.

All participants received at the end of the workshop a Certificate of Participation.
